BIO INX Selected as One of Start it @KBC’s 17 “Start-ups of Tomorrow” on the 2026 Love Tomorrow Summit
Boom, Belgium ; 23/07/2026 – BIO INX was honored to be selected by Start it @KBC as one of its 17 “Start-ups of Tomorrow”—with each company representing one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. BIO INX was chosen to represent SDG 15: Life on Land, reflecting our mission to advance human healthcare through the possibility of 3D printing cells and tissues while contributing to the development of animal-free research methods, using 3D bioprinted tissue models.
As part of the initiative, BIO INX had the opportunity to deliver a three-minute pitch on the Elixir Stage at the inspiring Love Tomorrow Summit in Boom. Against the unique backdrop of the largeste electronic music festival grounds, we shared our vision for the future of healthcare and explained how advanced biomaterials and 3D bioprinting can enable the creation of living tissues for regenerative medicine, personalized healthcare and more reliable, animal-free testing.
The event was not only an excellent platform to present BIO INX, but also an opportunity to discover the missions of the other selected start-ups. It was particularly inspiring to meet fellow materials innovators such as Virenti, which develops renewable printed circuit boards; Biofibix, which gives new life to the flax fibres for which Flanders is renowned by transforming them into high-performance materials that can compete with carbon fibre; and Compack, which turns mushroom waste into renewable packaging material for mushrooms.
Seeing festival grounds normally filled with techno music transformed into a vibrant gathering of techno-logy companies, entrepreneurs and changemakers was truly remarkable. The Love Tomorrow Summit offered an original take on the traditional business conference, bringing innovation and entrepreneurship together in an almost fairytale-like environment.
“It is always inspiring to discover what is being developed today for the world of tomorrow. For BIO INX, this was a valuable opportunity to share our story and our vision for the future of healthcare with a broad and engaged audience,” said Jasper Van Hoorick, CEO and co-founder of BIO INX.
The timing was particularly relevant as BIO INX is currently raising capital to accelerate its international growth and bring its technology closer to real-world healthcare applications.
