University of Sydney

Based at the University of Sydney, the Light Activated Biomaterials research group led by Associate Professor Khoon Lim develops photo-responsive hydrogels and bioinks for high-resolution bioprinting and regenerative medicine applications. His work spans musculoskeletal regeneration, vascular tissue engineering, chronic wounds, and in vitro models. Prof. Lim also co-directs the Sydney Biomanufacturing Incubator, bridging fundamental biomaterials research with translation into real-world technologies.
