Cameron Milne

Cameron Milne, PhD, is a Research Scientist at BIO INX. He holds an MChem from Bangor University, UK and a PhD in Medicine from University College Dublin, where his research focused on the chemical modification of hyaluronic acid for tissue adhesive and wound healing applications. Before moving to Ghent to join the team in November 2025, Cameron gained several years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. His background includes manufacturing, product development and quality control within regulated environments. At BIO INX, he bridges the gap between organic chemistry and biofabrication. Using his expertise in biopolymer modification techniques, he focuses on research and product development to help drive the next generation of 3D bioprinting materials.
